Matt Norris & The Moon – The Kingdom E.P

Matt Norris & The Moon have slowly been gaining fans in their home of Edinburgh’s folk scene. Having supported the likes of Ben Howard, Dry The River , Villagers & Lucy Rose the band clearly have pedigree. This comes thought in The Kingdom E.P. I much prefer this style of folk to that of Mumford & Sons. It still has a rawness to it, That I believe is needed in folk. With this e.p you could easily imagine the band playing at the back of a dark, damp and partly derelict Scottish pub or playing to thousands at a summer festival. Shadow From The Sun is a real delight from the E.P.
