Cardiff -Ten Feet Tall- Live Review -6th March
If anyone was coming to this gig to see a raw, unpredictable performance forget it. The kind of night I see is so poppy it should come with a warning. Well into their UK tour Cardiff based band Toy Horses play to a rammed audience at Ten Feet Tall. The band brought a great vibe and excitement to the venue and people seem genuinely excited to be there. The music they create kind of resembles The Feeling rather than The Beatles as what some have referred to them in the past. The vocals are softly sung, and the playing is very relaxed. They know how to perfect the ultimate pop song and live they cannot be faulted. They have the songs and most importantly the crowd in their palm of their hands. It’s an unashamedly feel good gig to go to. It’s completely opposite to what I normally watch and by god I would never buy their album as it’s just too darn sunny and happy but it’s a kind of concert you can take your family too and that folks is a rare thing.
